I built this engine this engine approx 15 years ago with the plans and castings from Ernie Winter. The engine has never failed and in that time has had one minor repair to some bearings. One very strong and reliable locomotive. The engine has been christened “ THE PIG” in honour of the full size locomotives.   The following photos were sent in by Adrian Kruger of Queensland. My engine , (20mm Bore and 25mm Stoke ) was built with Ernie Winter Castings approx 15 years ago. Some of the items I made myself are the base which it sits on, the crankshaft, from stainless steel and displacement lubricator.
